A Life Time Process

Getting to where I'm at now with my art has been a lifetime process. As a child I liked nothing better than to color birds and eagles. Of course I only chose the bronze and brown colors in my Crayola box (like every good child artist would do hahaha). I also loved to make sculptures made of mud and I of course thought they were museum quality as I displayed them on shelves. In school nothing made me happier than when the teacher said were going to collage today. I would think finally something worth doing at school. So time went on and I ran into Bob Ross on Sat. mornings. Oils were difficult so I used his techniques with cheap acrylics. But the importance was learning the techniques not the medium. After that I experimented with painting all sort of things. Especially native American art. I was never professionally trained. I picked up things from books, other artist, You Tube, and practice. So finally, finally I have arrived with my own style! And I could not be happier.
